Washi Yarn Sleeveless Breathable Knit Vest
Description
Washi yarn is an innovative textile material derived from traditional Japanese craftsmanship. It is spun from natural plant fibers such as mulberry and mitsumata via paper-making techniques. Made of FSC-certified renewable wood pulp and processed physically without chemical additives, it consumes only one-third of the energy used for cotton yarn production and can biodegrade naturally in about four weeks after disposal, delivering outstanding environmental performance. Featuring a solid elliptical cross-section, the yarn has a compact structure and a smooth hairless surface. Its natural micro-pores create breathable channels that keep warm in winter and dissipate heat in summer. It outperforms pure cotton in moisture absorption and wicking, absorbing sweat 40% faster and evaporating it quickly to keep the skin dry. With natural temperature regulation, it lowers the body feeling temperature by 2-3℃ in summer, known as "wearable air conditioning". Its density is only of cotton, bringing an ultra-light wearing experience. The fabric has natural antibacterial and deodorant properties to effectively reduce sweat odor, along with anti-static function and over 90% UV protection rate. It maintains a crisp and neat shape without sagging, combining the textured feel of linen and the stiffness of washi paper, and presents an elegant matte texture just like rice paper.
